Voice হলো verb-এর এমন একটি form যা বলে দেয় subject নিজে কাজ করছে, নাকি তার উপর কাজটি হচ্ছে।
Voice এর সংজ্ঞা
উদাহরণ:
- Karim writes a letter. → Active Voice
- A letter is written by Karim. → Passive Voice
Active Voice কী?
Active Voice এ subject নিজেই কাজ সম্পন্ন করে। এই ধরনের sentence সহজ, সরাসরি এবং বেশি ব্যবহৃত।
Active Voice Structure
Subject + Verb + Object
উদাহরণ:
- The boy plays football.
- My mother cooks rice.
এখানে boy এবং mother নিজেরাই কাজ করছে।
Passive Voice কী?
Passive Voice এ কাজটি subject-এর উপর হয়। এখানে object কে সামনে আনা হয়।

Object + be verb + V3 + by + Subject
উদাহরণ:
- Football is played by the boy.
- Rice is cooked by my mother.
